“T’ashii” meaning path on land or on water. Tashii Paddle School is a truly unique way to get out on the water and explore in Tofino (Tla-o-qui-aht territory).

What we offer: Traditional First Nation Canoeing and Stand Up Paddle boarding (SUP) tours in Tofino, BC. This is the ability to explore Tla-o-qui-aht Tribal Park through an intimate connection to the ocean environment – Paddling!

Our Cultural Canoeing Tours offer an authentic cultural experience. Paddle a hand crafted 24foot dug out canoe and experience the waters of Clayoquot Sound from a Nuu-chah-nulth perspective. Hear traditional stories and history, or paddle to Meares Island to explore 1000 year old trees on the Big Tree Trail.

Or try the newest paddling sport in the area by taking a  Stand Up Paddle boarding Tour or Lesson. On our paddle boarding tours the focus is trying something new and having fun! We have variety of tours from a relaxed paddle on the clam waters of inlet side of Tofino, to full day excursions using specialized touring stand up paddle boards.
