Things to do in Tofino remembrance day long weekend

November 5th, 2016

Join T’ashii for paddling and cultural adventures this long weekend.

Storm season is here but there’s still some great outdoor activities to enjoy in Tofino.

Looking for things to do during the storm season in Tofino? T’ashii Paddle School will be offering tours over the November remembrance day long weekend in Tofino BC. Our dugout canoe is out of the water for the winter, but there is still great paddling and cultural activities that you can enjoy over this long weekend. Its a good idea to book ahead, with the season winding down, we’re not always by the phone last second. For details of the trips and book online click on the links.

Inlet Paddleboarding

tofino-paddleboarding-inlet

Explore the calmest place to paddle in Tofino. Surrounded by rain forest on the inlet side of the peninsula this is an excellent way to try stand up paddleboarding for the first time without having to deal with open ocean swell. With a full wetsuit on its even a treat to get in the water, not that you have to… Our Inlet Paddleboard tour takes you through the basics of paddling as you explore a unique and secluded marine environment. The only catch is you can only paddle on the inlet during high tide.

Our trip times for the long weekend are:

9:30am Fri Nov 11

10:30am Sat Nov 12 & Sun Nov 13

First Nations Guided Rainforest Walk

For SUP surfers with experience we do have advanced SUP surfing lessons.
