Where should I surf as a beginner?
Cox Bay and Chesterman Beach are popular beginner-friendly spots with consistent waves. We are located 10 minutes away from North Chesterman beach, one of the best surfing beach in Canada!
Walk-ins are welcome, but availability can vary. To guarantee we have the gear you need, we recommend booking in advance through our website.
What kind of surfboard should I rent?
Beginners usually rent soft-top longboards (8–9 ft) for stability. Intermediates or advanced surfers might choose a hard-top surfboard depending on the conditions and your skill level. We wrote an entire blog post about that, have a look!
Do you provide surf lessons or just rentals?
