Basic First Aid (Emergency First Aid + CPR C) – previously OFA1

Basic First Aid (previously OFA 1) is a WORKSAFE BC CERTIFICATION INCLUDING CPR C

Titled Emergency First Aid with CPR C is a WorksafeBC Basic First Aid course.

This course is a hands-on interactive 1 day course with a focus on teaching workers how to deal with the most common work place emergencies. This program is approved by WorkSafeBC.First Aid emergencies include adult CPR, choking procedures, emergency scene management, dealing with shock, spinal injuries, minor wound management, major bleeding, internal bleeding and use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).

Courses are at various locations in Tofino. Course confirmation will have location details.

To secure your place in a course Swell requires full payment. We will issue a full refund for courses that are cancelled because of unsafe weather conditions or for courses that do not run if participant minimums are not reached.

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellation 14 days or more before course start date: If you cancel your enrolment 14 days or more prior to the day of the course, you will receive a full refund minus a $20 administration fee.
• No refunds for cancellation with less than 14 days before course start date: Cancellations made within the last 14 days before the day of the course are not eligible for a refund. However we can keep course fees as a credit which can be put toward future courses.
