PADDLE CANADA’S MOST ADVANCED SUP TOURING COURSE.

Become and Paddle Canada Touring Level 2 Instructor and lead your own Paddle Canada SUP touring courses or instruct with a local paddleboard school. This is an advanced level Paddle Canada certification lead by IT Emre Bosut in Tofino. The course will focus on navigational techniques as we paddle and explore both tidal current and open ocean environments around Tofino.

2 day course: Explore the best paddling Tofino has to offer. Challenge yourself in open ocean touring and tidal currents while developing navigational techniques.

Prerequisites

Paddle Canada Touring 2 SUP skills certification, or equivalent skills and knowledge

Paddle Canada Advanced Flatwater SUP Instructor certification

Preparation

Instructor candidates must be confident in performing all coastal navigation skills covered in the Touring 1 Instructor course. Includes: Reading a chart, compass navigation, weather forecasting, leading groups in tidal currents, leading groups in exposed coastal areas, coastal rescues, reading tide and current charts.

Includes

Inflatable touring SUP to use during the course and immersion gear. (please get in touch if you prefer to use your own gear).

Expert instruction with a focus on planning and leading advanced stand up paddleboarding trips in remote environments.
