T’ashii Paddle School, Tofino’s local First Nations owned paddling and outdoor education provider brings you Paddle Canada courses ingrained with local knowledge and expertise of paddling in this world class paddling destination . Course content is created by Paddle Canada instructor trainer Emre Bosut and courses are taught by Emre and Glen Pearson.

SUP Surf Courses with video feedback (Paddle Canada SUP Surf Certified)
Catch waves on a stand up paddleboard. SUP surfing level 1 takes you from learning the basics of surfing to being able to pick out better waves and get longer rides. SUP surfing level 2 offers instruction for those already catching waves confidently but are looking at stepping up their game. New this year, all our SUP surfing courses will incorporate video feedback.
SUP surfing Level 1 Dates:

SUP surfing Level 2 Date:
May 13-14
SUP Touring Level 1 (Paddle Canada Certified) – $299+GST)
Explore a little deeper into Clayoquot Sound. SUP Touring is about getting more remote and enjoying a full day on the water while learning navigation techniques, chart reading, and how to work with the ocean terrain such as paddling in tidal currents or swell.
SUP Touring 1 Date:
July 15-16
SUP Multi-Day Camping (Paddle Canada SUP Touring level 2)- 3 days on Vargas Island $599+GST.
The ultimate SUP touring experience. Self support multi-day camping on Vargas Island. Pristine sand beaches, rainforest, and open ocean, paddling with everything you need strapped to your paddleboard. This is not a hard core trip, just a great way to learn the logistics of a self support multi day touring and an awsome way to get away from it all.
SUP Touring 2 Date:

SUP Instructor Courses – Advanced Flatwater Instructor, SUP Surf Instructor, and SUP Touring Instructor courses
Become a Paddle Canada certified stand up paddleboard instructor. T’ashii’s instructor courses provide lesson plans, teaching material, emergency rescue practice and ongoing support (after the completion of the course). Courses are taught by instructor trainer Emre Bosut. Beyond our set course dates we have the ability to deliver customized instructor courses particularly suited for group staff training.
