New addition to Swell Tofino in store retail section! As of now we are starting to sell Softech Surfboards. A brand of Foam top Surfboards that is supported by many famous surfers like Mason Ho, Filipe Toledo, Eric Geiselman and Sally Fitzgibbons.
Soft top or Foam top surfboards are so much fun to use, they usually have a lot more volume than hard tops which makes it a lot easier to catch waves and therefor have more fun in the water. The boards will float better and are easier to paddle with. The foam top is also safer if you are in the water on a busy summer day and there are a lot of people out surfing on Cox bay or North Chesterman beach. The rounded rails and more forgiving fins of the surfboard also make it safer for beginners to not hurt themselves. Last but not least Foam boards are made to be very durable!
The Softech Surfboards we carry are the ‘Roller’, ‘Bomber’ and the Sally Fitzgibbons Handshaped fun board. More in depth info can be found below.
Softech ROLLER
For the Softech Roller surfboards we carry 3 different sizes: 7ft, 7ft6 and 8ft. They come in different colours Orange, Blue and Smoke Green. These boards are designed for beginners to start their surfing journey. They are easy to paddle onto waves and the generous shape of the boards create a lot of stability and float so new surfers are more stable to pop up on the board and perfect their skills.

Softech BOMBER FCS||
The Softech Bomber surfboard is the ultimate fun board for someone who is more used to short board surfing. They have a tapered tail, but a classic long board wide nose. Therefor it is super easy to paddle and catch the wave, while still have all the manoeuvrability and ability to make a sweet carving turn. The Bomber comes in 3 different sizes 5ft10, 6ft4 and 6ft10 and they all are in the Smoke Green colour.

Softech SALLY FITZGIBBONS SIGNATURE
Sally Fitzgibbons is an Australian surfer who has been fighting for WSL World Titles for many years now and is known for being very sporty and competitive.
This Sally Fitzgibbons surfboard is in a way similar to the Softech Roller, but is more designed for the beginning female surfers. It is a super fun board that is designed to catch a ton of waves. The board is wide, stable and easy to paddle. Perfect for that first fun surf experience! We carry the Sally Fitz board in size 7ft in the pink colour.
